Specification Manager - South ASR are supporting a growing international manufacturing company offering significant opportunities for career growth and development. I'm looking for a ambitious, and target-driven Specification Manager to join the UK Merchant and Specification team. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow and develop the offering in the South, South West / Central region. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive "cradle-to-grave" sales plan, engaging with key stakeholders such as national and regional housebuilders, national contractors, main contractors, social housing groups, architects, designers, and merchants . This role involves proactively managing and driving sales growth across the UK by building strong relationships and identifying opportunities within the market. The Regional Specification Sales Manager will report directly to the National Sales Director in the UK and will be based in the South East region. Key Responsibilities Serve as a vital member of the UK Specification team, contributing to a high-performance culture aligned with agreed sales principles and objectives. Build and nurture relationships with key customers while developing a robust project pipeline to drive sustainable sales growth. You’ll manage a client base of six key specification merchants and focus on expanding the regional housebuilding market in the South West and Central region. Work alongside the merchant and specification team to identify new opportunities, expand into new markets, and establish relationships with new customers. Create and maintain strong connections between client project demand and supply through merchant partnerships. Actively engage with residential sector clients, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. Knowledge & Experience Requirements Exceptional knowledge of the residential sector, UK merchants is essential. Strong financial acumen with a clear understanding of costs, mark-ups, and margins. Experience in the KBB is desirable, but NOT essential as long as you have the residential & merchant knowledge. A strategic thinker with the ability to turn vision into actionable results. Proven experience in developing and managing client relationships, project pipelines, and supply chain management. Confident in presenting to stakeholders at all levels of business.
